Part 1: Redeeming Loyalty Points
1. Open Shopify POS & Add Customer
Launch Shopify POS.
Tap Add Customer → search by name, email, or phone.
Select the correct customer profile.
Once added, the 99minds Loyalty widget will appear.
2. Check Available Points
Inside the loyalty panel, you will see:
Total points earned
Points available for redemption
Eligible rewards
Tap “Redeem Points” or “View Rewards” (depends on your setup).
3. Select a Reward
A list of redeemable rewards will appear such as:
₹50 off
₹100 off
Percentage discount
Free product
Custom reward
Tap on the reward the customer wants to redeem.
4. Apply Reward to Cart
After selecting the reward:
Tap Apply or Redeem
The POS will automatically:
Deduct the required points
Generate a unique reward code
Apply the discount to the cart
You will now see the reward reflected in the cart summary.
5. Complete Checkout
Continue with the payment flow as usual.
The redeemed points and discount will be recorded in:
99minds Dashboard

Part 2: Applying a Coupon (Discount Code)
1. Open the Cart
Ensure the correct customer is added to the cart.
2. Tap “Add Discount”
On the order screen:
Tap More actions or Add discount
Choose Add discount code
3. Enter 99minds Coupon Code
Enter the coupon code provided:
Manually
Or copy/paste (if sent via SMS/email)
Tap Apply.
4. Discount is Applied
Once applied, you’ll see:
Discount value
Updated order total
Coupon listed under “Applied Discounts”
5. Verify & Complete the Sale
Review the order and finish the checkout normally.
Customer Experience After Redemption
Customers will:
Receive a receipt showing redeemed rewards
Get updated points balance
Receive emails/SMS for any unused or new rewards
See updated rewards in their loyalty account (if enabled)
Optional: Auto-Apply Rewards
If enabled in 99minds:
The system can automatically detect eligible rewards
POS can show a popup prompting the staff
One-tap redemption becomes available
