1. Open Shopify POS
Launch the Shopify POS app on your device. On the home screen, you will see various tiles such as Add Custom Sale, Ship All Items, etc.
2. Add the Gift Card Balance Tile (if not already added)
- Tap the 'Add tile' option.
- Choose 'App' or 'Add App Action'.
- Select the 99minds Gift Card integration.
- Choose the option for 'Check Gift Card Balance'.
- The tile will now appear on your POS home screen for quick access.
3. Open the Balance Check Tool
Tap on the newly added 'Check Gift Card Balance' tile. This will open the 99minds gift card balance checker inside POS.
4. Scan or Enter the Gift Card Code
- Use your barcode scanner to scan the gift card.
- OR manually enter the card number in the designated input field.
5. View the Available Balance
Once the card number is entered, the system fetches and displays the remaining balance linked with that gift card in real time.
6. Provide the Information to the Customer
You can now inform the customer of their available gift card balance or proceed with a sale using the remaining amount.
