Configure the following fields according to your requirements:

  • Title – Main heading for the store credit section.

  • Balance Title – Text shown when the customer has available store credits (e.g., “Balance of Store Credits”).

  • No Balance Title – Text shown when no store credit is available.

  • Description – Supporting text explaining how store credits work.

Next, configure the button labels:

  • Redeem Button Label – Text displayed on the button customers click to redeem credits.

Step 5: Log In as a Customer with Valid Store Credit

To see store credit in action, you must log in as a customer who has valid store credits in their account. For example, log in as a user such as John who has store credit assigned.

Sign in with the customer’s email address (e.g., [email protected]).

Complete the login process.

After logging in successfully with a valid user, the store credit associated with that customer will become visible.

Step 6: Verify and Use Store Credit at Checkout

Proceed to the checkout page. You should see the checkout bar showing the customer’s available store credit (for example, John has $32 store credit).

If manual apply is enabled, the customer can click the Redeem button to apply their store credit directly on the checkout screen.

Back in the 99minds dashboard, you can adjust the behavior further:

  • Enable Auto Apply so that store credit is applied automatically at checkout.

  • Click Save after changing this option.

With Auto Apply enabled, there is no need for the customer to click the Redeem button; the store credit will be applied automatically during checkout.

The credits will be automatically applied on the checkout page without any manual action.

In this way, you can configure both manual and automatic store credit application for the Shopify Checkout Extension using 99minds.
