99minds & BigCommerce Integration - Enabling BigCommerce Gift Certificates

Once the 99minds Gift card app is installed, the next step is to enable the default BigCommerce gift certificates page.
  1. Log in to your BigCommerce account. Go to Marketing > Gift Certificates section. 
  2. Select the Enable Gift Certificates checkbox. Only when enabled, customers will be able to purchase and use gift cards within your store. 
  3. Click Save to save the Gift Certificate Settings
By enabling the gift certificates checkbox, you are actually enabling the API and BigCommerce automatically adds a default Gift Certificates page to your store.

Since you will be installing the 99minds gift card Widget on to your store, the next step is to disable/hide the default Gift Certificates page (created in the above steps).
  1. Go to Marketing > Gift Certificates section. Uncheck the Enable Gift Certificates checkbox.
That's right! You need to enable the gift certificates option first and then disable it. This will hide the default Gift Certificates page.

Do not delete or modify the Gift card product created by 99minds on your Bigcommerce store. Any changes made to the product might result in the app not functioning properly.
