To send an email for every triggered event, the first step is to Create a Flow within Omnisend.

How to Create a Flow within Omnisend to send Transactional Emails?

  1. Within 99minds, go to Integrations > Omnisend. Click Manage. Enable the Transaction Events Settings toggle to send transactional events to Omnisend.

  2. Log in to your Omnisend dashboard to create a flow. To get started, click on Automation from the top drop down menu.

  3. Click New Workflow > Create custom workflow

  4. The first step is to define the trigger. Click the trigger action box and select the trigger as, for example, 99minds Order Placed from the right menu (under Edit Trigger).

  5. From the left menu options, select the Email action box (under Messages) and drag it into the workflow design area

  6. Enter the email content - Subject line, Pre-header, sender's Name, senders email address

  7. Click Edit content. This will bring up the options to design the email content. You can add the custom event values by clicking on the Insert Personalisation icon.

  8. Click Save and Close. The event is now created and enabled under Omnisend.

Whenever a custom event (99mindsOrderPlaced) is sent via the Omnisend API, the flow will be triggered and the email will be sent to the user.
