This article will explain the detailed steps to install and configure Mailchimp within 99minds.
Within Mailchimp -
You must have the API keys to be able to send transactional emails through Mailchimp. To get your API keys, log in to your Mailchimp account and go to Profile > Extras > API Keys page on your profile.
Under Your API Keys section click on Create a Mandrill API Key
On the next screen select Log in using Mailchimp.
It will take you to your mandrill account with an option to Add API Key. Generate the API key using this option. Copy this key to a safe location for now. We will need this in next step.
Within 99minds -
Go to Integrations > Mailchimp. Click Connect.

Log in to Mailchimp to authorize your Mailchimp account to the 99minds gift card platform

Click Allow to authorize the 99minds gift card to access your Mailchimp account

4. Click Manage to manage the Mailchimp settings -
Transaction Settings - Enter the API Key we generated earlier from Mandrill and paste it in the space provided, sender email and email "from" text. Click Update to save the transaction settings. With this setting enabled, 99minds will automatically trigger emails when user performs a gift card operation. (order placed, gift card sent, gift card redeemed, gift card sent).
Publish Settings - Select the Mailchimp list to which you want to add the user's email address
Integration Status - Click Disable to disable the integration. Once disabled, the integration should be enabled once again before changing any configuration.
