This document provides a step-by-step process to issue a gift card, either manually or via a CSV file. Follow these instructions to ensure a seamless experience when managing gift cards for customers.

Step 1

Begin by ensuring the customer is logged in. Navigate to the gift card tab located in the left-side menu bar and click on it.

Step 2

In the gift cards section, click on the "Issue Gift Card" tab. First, we will issue a gift card manually, without using a CSV file. Select the email option, though you can also issue by phone or customer ID. For this example, we will proceed with email.

Step 3

Enter the recipient's email address and press enter. Select the required campaign and specify the amount. Click the "Issue Gift Card" button. The system will process and issue the gift card to the chosen customer for the specified campaign.

Step 4

While processing, you can verify if the gift card has been issued. The issued gift card will appear under the selected campaign. Now, to issue a gift card using a CSV, click on "Issue Gift Card" again, and choose the CSV upload option.

Step 5

Download the sample CSV file, if you haven't already. Open the downloaded CSV file. Enter the necessary details such as email, campaign ID, delivery mode, and amount.

Step 6

Set the delivery mode to digital and ensure the amount is accurate. Return to the platform, upload the filled CSV, select it, and click "Next". Confirm the delivery mode is set to digital.

Step 7

If needed, adjust the amount before submitting. Click "Submit" to issue the gift card via the CSV file. This example demonstrates using a single gift card, but you can include multiple gift cards in the CSV.

Step 8

Once uploaded, verify in the "99 Miles" section to ensure the gift card has been issued. Finally, check all gift cards to view the latest one. Confirm the transaction with the customer's email.
