How to Manage Gift Cards in 99minds?

Customers can manage the gift cards that are created as part of an ongoing campaign. There are two ways to manage gift cards - manage individual gift cards and bulk manage gift cards. 

Manage Individual Gift Cards

Navigate to the All Gift Cards screen and click on the gift card number. The following actions can be performed on the gift card - 
  1. Reload Gift Card
  2. Extend Expiry
  3. Activate Gift Card
  4. Deactivate Gift Card
  5. Block Gift Card
  6. Void Gift Card
Click the action, enter a note and click Submit. The action will be recorded as a transaction under the Recent Transactions section.
Manage Gift Cards

Bulk Manage Gift Cards

Navigate to Gift Cards > Manage. Customers can choose to activate, deactivate, block, void, load and reload gift cards in bulk.

Activate Cards

Use this tab to bulk activate the gift cards. In the Activate Cards screen, customers can either activate individual gift cards or bulk upload gift card numbers as CSV to be activated.

  1. In the Activate Gift Cards section on the left side, enter the gift card id or number in the box provided. You can enter multiple gift card numbers or ids separated by comma.
  2. Click Activate to activate the entered gift card numbers
Alternatively, the Upload cards to Activate section on the right side will allow you to enter a CSV file with the list of gift cards numbers to be activated.
  1. Download a sample CSV file by clicking on Sample CSV
  2. Delete the sample data and enter the gift card numbers to be activated
  3. Upload the CSV file. Click Upload. If the entered CSV is valid, the gift cards will be activated successfully.

Deactivate Cards

Select the Deactivate Cards tab. To deactivate individual gift card numbers, enter the gift card numbers/ids (separated by comma) on the left side. To deactivate a bulk of gift cards, upload the CSV file with the list of gift cards numbers on the right side.

Block Cards

Select the Block Cards tab. To block individual gift card numbers, enter the gift card numbers/ids (separated by comma) on the left side. To block a bulk of gift cards, upload the CSV file with the list of gift cards numbers on the right side.

Void Cards

Select the Void Cards tab. To void individual gift card numbers, enter the gift card numbers/ids (separated by comma) on the left side. To void a bulk of gift cards, upload the CSV file with the list of gift cards numbers on the right side.

Load/Reload Cards

Select the Loads Cards / Reload Cards tab. To load/reload individual gift card numbers, enter the gift card numbers/ids (separated by comma) on the left side. To load/reload a bulk of gift cards, upload the CSV file with the list of gift cards numbers on the right side.

View Gift Card Details

Navigate to Gift Cards > All Gift Cards. This screen will list all the gift cards that are created irrespective of any specific product campaign. The table will display the gift card number, card value, expiry date, customer details, last transaction, campaign name, delivery method and batch id. You can also filter the records in the table by entering a specific gift card number/campaign name under the Filter section.

Click the gift card number to view the card details. The details page will display the following information - 
  1. Gift card status (Disabled/Active)
  2. Gift card type (Digital/Physical)
  3. Last Transaction (CREATION, ACTIVATION, DEACTIVATION, BLOCK, VOID, REDEMPTION, REFUND)
  4. Card ID, Campaign ID, Batch ID
  5. Card Available Balance
  6. Card Expiry Date
  7. Recent Transactions (type, source, amount, date)
  8. Campaign information. Click View Details to view the detailed campaign information.
