99minds & Omnisend Integration - Promotional Gift Card Campaigns
Customers can use Omnisend to send promotional gift cards to users. To send a gift card, the first step is to
Create a Flow within Omnisend. (similar to
sending transactional emails)
- Log in to your Omnisend dashboard to create a flow. To get started, click on Automation from the top drop down menu.
- Click New Workflow > Create custom workflow
- The first step is to define the trigger. Click the trigger action box and select the trigger as, for example, 99minds Send Gift Card from the right menu (under Edit Trigger).
- From the left menu options, select the Email action box (under Messages) and drag it into the workflow design area
- Enter the email content - Subject line, Pre-header, sender's Name, senders email address
- Click Edit content. This will bring up the options to design the email content. You can add the custom event values by clicking on the Insert Personalisation icon.
- Click Save and Close. The event is now created and enabled under Omnisend.
- To export the audience information, navigate to Audience > Exports from the top drop down menu. Click Download to download the contacts list in the CSV format.
