99minds & Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) Integration - Sell and Redeem Gift Cards

Selling a gift card within Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) - 
  1. Navigate to the Sell screen from the left navigation menu. In the Search for products bar, enter Gift Card. 
  2. Select the gift card product. Enter the Gift Card number in the Add New gift card screen. Click Find Gift Card.
  3. Once the gift card number has been verified, enter the gift card value. Click Add to Sale. The gift card is now added to the sale.
  4. Continue to finish the sale as usual to complete the process. After the gift card has been created and loaded with the amount, the transaction details will be recorded under the Recent Transactions section in the 99minds Gift Card Details page
Redeeming a gift card within Lightspeed Retail (X-Series) -
  1. To accept a gift card during the payment, make sure to select Gift Card as the payment type
  2. Scan/enter the gift card number and click Find Gift Card
  3. Continue to finish the sale as usual. Click Pay with gift card. The amount will be deducted from the gift card for the order.
Redeeming a gift card on BigCommerce, Shopify or other eCommerce stores - 
  1. To redeem a gift card, click on Gift Certificate in the Order Summary page
  2. Enter the unique gift card code. Click Apply.
  3. In case of the customer's sale total is greater than the balance on their gift card, you must confirm the removal of their full balance and process the outstanding balance using another payment method
